How does My Lucky Laundry work?

It's three simple steps: (1) Book online — pick your date and a 2-hour pickup window on our calendar. (2) We come to you — a driver picks up your laundry bag from your door. (3) We wash, fold, and deliver — your clean laundry comes back to your door in your chosen delivery window. No trips to the laundromat, no waiting around.
What areas do you serve?

We serve the Atlanta metro area, including Midtown, Buckhead, Decatur, Virginia-Highland, Grant Park, Inman Park, Old Fourth Ward, and surrounding neighborhoods. Not sure if we cover your zip code? Start a booking and we'll let you know.
How far in advance can I book?

You can book up to 2 weeks in advance. Pickup windows are available in 2-hour blocks. Next-day and same-week slots fill up fast, so we recommend booking ahead.
What's the turnaround time?

Standard service: your laundry is returned the following day (next-day delivery). Express service: same-day return for orders picked up in the morning window. Exact delivery windows are shown at checkout.

How much does it cost?

$1.89/lb for standard service and $2.49/lb for express (same-day return). There is a $30 minimum order. Pickup and delivery are always free — no hidden fees.
Is there a minimum order?
▾
Yes — the minimum order is $30 (about 16 lbs at standard rate). Most customers average 15–25 lbs per order, which easily meets the minimum.
When and how do I pay?

You prepay online before we pick up your laundry. We estimate the weight at booking, then settle any difference after pickup. All major credit and debit cards are accepted. No cash, no awkward payment at the door.
Is pickup and delivery really free?

Yes — always. Free pickup and delivery is included on every order with no minimum. That's what makes us better value than competitors who charge $5–10 extra for delivery.

What items do you wash?

We handle everyday laundry: clothes, t-shirts, pants, underwear, socks, workout gear, towels, sheets, and pillowcases. We do not currently handle dry-clean-only items, suits, leather, or heavily soiled items requiring industrial treatment.
Do you wash and fold, or just wash?
▾
We wash, dry, and fold everything. Your laundry comes back neatly folded in a clean bag, ready to put away. We sort by clothing type and take care with delicates.
What detergent options are available?

You can choose your preference at checkout:
Standard — Tide original or similar premium detergent
Fragrance-free — unscented, ideal for sensitive skin
Eco / Hypoallergenic — plant-based, gentle formula
Fabric softener is added by default unless you opt out.
📦 Tracking & Orders
How do I track my order?

After booking, you'll receive a tracking code via email. Visit myluckylaundry.com/track and enter your code to see real-time status: Order Placed → Picked Up → Washing → Folding → Out for Delivery → Delivered.
Can I cancel or reschedule my order?
▾
Yes — cancellations and reschedules are accepted up to 2 hours before your pickup window. Contact us at contact@myluckylaundry.com or call (470) 329-2775. Same-day cancellations may incur a small fee.
What if I'm not home for pickup or delivery?
▾
No problem! Leave your bag outside your door (porch, doorstep, or lobby) and we'll grab it. For delivery, we'll leave your clean laundry at the same spot and send you a notification. Just let us know your preferred drop-off location in the booking notes.
